The Historical Room collection is maintained with the joint cooperation with the Missaukee County Historical Society.

The room also holds a small artifacts collection, a autographed books collection, Lake City memorabilia, and a fine assortment of family histories submitted by local patrons.

The library is currently accepting family pedigree sheets, written histories and photocopied correspondence from the descendants of our county's early residents. Please contact the library if you wish to contribute your family's history.

The library regularly sells copies of the Missaukee County Historical Society's annual calendar, which showcases rare and unique photos from around the area. The calendar is $5 and can be purchased at the library's front desk.

To preserve the our Historical Room's collections, patrons wishing to use the room must sign in at the front desk and drop off bags and large purses. The Historical Room is open during normal library operation hours.
